Paramecii: "Safety in Numbers" The paramecii are the smallest yet deadliest of the three species. They multiply very fast, and their sheer numbers are their strength. However, they are very difficult to control, which is their primary downside. They are controlled by formation orders given directly to the entire colony, in addition to meiosis mutations bestowed upon cells of a target sector. The gameplay of the Paramecii can be similarized to Strategy/Simulation games like Populous and Majesty. Defining features: - Overwhelming Numbers: A single mindless mass of hundreds of cells - Uncontrollable: No direct control over cells in or out of combat. - Photosynthesis: Later mutations allow paramecii to generate chlorophyll, significantly reducing their dependency to traditional food sources - Meiosis: Allows a cells near targeted location to multiply rapidly for a short time and mutate into specialized cells, after which point they lose the ability to reproduce - Paramecii Formations: The powerful link between each member of the colony allows them to develop and utilize deadly formations with perfect coordination.
